VAAGO  is a creative and commercial project connecting local and independent makers from Portugal’s interior and islands with audiences, brands, and territories. It specializes in curating and selling contemporary design and author-driven craftsmanship. Through the VAAGO Collective, it develops exhibitions, workshops, and creative experiences in partnership with hotels, travel agencies, and cultural organizations.

VAAGO also provides communication and branding services, helping brands and projects clarify their identity, narrative, and positioning.

In the historic heart of Lamego, there is a place where the past sustains the present. Our bookshop/stationery store is not just a commercial space; it is a building erected in the 18th century with stones from the surrounding walls of the city’s castle. The granite walls surrounding the store have told many stories, but now they are dedicated to keeping those that live inside books. An immersive experience upon entering, the contrast between the centuries-old stone and the modern iron mezzanine structure defines our identity. We have created a refuge of about 200m2 where the pace slows down and the silence invites reading.  

A shop dedicated to creating and selling illustrated and personalized products. We offer original items such as tote bags, pins, mugs, magnets and other creative accessories, perfect for gifts or collectors. Each product is based on original illustrations, with a strong focus on creativity and design.
