The Andebol Club de Lamego, founded on October 10, 1990, and granted Public Utility Status (Order no. 1761/2021, dated 08.01.2021, published in DR II no. 33/2021 on 17.02.2021), is a sports association based in the city of Lamego, in the district of Viseu.

It is a non-profit organization that stands out for promoting handball, with a special focus on youth development, encouraging values such as teamwork, inclusion, and personal growth.

Throughout its history, the club has established itself at both regional and national levels, being recognized as a reference in handball and sports training.

In short, it is a club that carries the name of Lamego throughout the country, playing an important role in local sports, with a strong commitment to training and the development of handball in Portugal.
